I have a couple of garden beds filled with mostly native plants, and I take a “sink or swim” approach with them… they either survive on their own with little tending, or they don’t. Too many other garden tasks to accomplish.
I have one iris standing guard waiting for his/her friends to bloom. My others don’t seem in any hurry to show their faces. Come on, I am waiting for you.
